About City

Orlando, a city in Florida, is home of world famous theme parks. Chief among them is Walt Disney World, comprised of four parks, including the famous Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and 2 water parks. Another major player, Universal Orlando, offers two parks includes Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter straddling both. The City of Orlando is the Theme Park Capital of the World is nicknamed "The City Beautiful". During 2014 its tourist attractions and events drew more than Sixty Two million visitors. The Orlando International Airport is the 13th busiest airport in the US and the Twenty Ninth busiest in the world. The City has a humid subtropical climate and is located on the border of USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 9A and 9B. There are 2 major seasons each year. One is hot and rainy, lasting from May until late September. The other is the dry, relatively cool season (October to April) bringing less frequent rainfall, yet still with warm temperatures.
